Paul Hitchens: Paul is Creative Director of Verve and a founding partner of the company.  Paul studied Graphic Design at the London College of Printing and previously worked for the PA Consulting Group and Wolff Olins, one of London’s oldest and most celebrated brand consultancies and recognized as one of the world’s most influential brand business.

With Paul’s in-depth knowledge of branding, he decided to form his own branding consultancy focusing on British businesses in 1996.  Paul has created more than 50 brands in that time, bringing world-class experience to ambitious small and medium-sized companies.

Paul has contributed to ‘The Daily Telegraph’ regarding the use of colour in brands and worked with the Design Council on their ‘Designing in Demand’ programme receiving industry awards for his work. 

Julia Hitchens: Julia is Verve’s Account Director and also a founding partner of the company. Julia graduated In Marketing at Greenwich University and is a Chartered Marketer of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.  At University, Julia worked on joint projects with Jez Frampton, Global CED of Interbrand - the world’s largest branding consultancy.

Julia’s experience includes marketing campaigns for a number of companies with such varied products as consumer electronics and sports cars. She previously worked for the US advertising agency Lintas, managing campaigns for clients including MG Rover and Sally Ferries.

Julia has a passion for inspiring ambitious businesses to have confidence in themselves to create strong brands.  Many of the business owners Verve has helped have noted that this was a very important by-product of the process of re-branding their company.  The branding exercise not only rejuvenated the company but also its employees!
